Reggae jams, punk rock ballads and all-night electronic dance fests transform the North Tahoe Regional Park into one of the North Shore’s hottest concert venues for three nights this summer. Kick off the party on July 17 with NOFX, Stephen Marley, Fishbone and Slightly Stoopid.
After more than a decade of consistent touring, Slightly Stoopid has honed their on-stage presence and laid-back vibes. What started with childhood friends Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald has grown into an eight-man mix of talent with bright horns, jamming guitars and tight percussion.
“Everyone’s got their flavor and style. It becomes a melting pot of inspirations and vibes,” said Ryan “Rymo” Moran, who has held down the drum kit since the band asked him to join them on tour in 2003.
